EOCThe STAAR program includes end-of-course assessments for English I, English II, Algebra I, Biology and U.S. History. Students MUST earn a passing score (approaches grade level) on each of these exams in order to fulfill graduation requirements.

APThe College Board's Advanced Placement (AP) courses are college-level classes in a wide variety of subjects that students can take while still in high school. They offer students challenging course work and a taste of what college classes are like. AP is a voluntary program.

PSATThe PSAT/NMSQT is the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Semifinalist Qualifying Test. CSHS administers this test to 10th and 11th graders in October each year.

TSIAThe TSI Assessment (TSIA2) is part of the Texas Success Initiative program designed to help your college or university determine if you are ready for college-level course work in the areas of reading, writing, and mathematics.
