College Station High School art begins with Art 1, a class designed to introduce students to the fundamentals in art and various mediums and techniques. Students who choose to continue past Art 1 can select from three different disciplines: Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture. Students who continue into the third and fourth years of art have the option of taking Pre-AP and AP Art, which prepare students to submit a portfolio to the College Board at the culmination of their senior year.
